CREAM CHEESE PORK CHOPS

4 pork chops bone in/out
Approx. 6 oz. each and 1” thick
1 Tbsp. oil (canola, olive, coconut)
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
½ cup chicken broth
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup balsamic vinaigrette
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Optional
bacon bits and chives, optional
apples, sliced, on side, with cinnamon
Steamed carrots
Recipe also works with vegetarian sausage.

 In a large skillet, cook pork chops in oil over medium heat for 8-10 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160°. Remove, cover, and keep warm.

 Add the cream cheese, broth, cheese, vinaigrette and lemon juice to the skillet; cook and stir until blended. Return chops to the pan; heat through.

Optional:

Slice apples, toss with cinnamon, unpeeled adds colour to the plate, as well as steamed carrots.

Sprinkle each serving with bacon bits and chives.
