Dave started with Askew's Armstong in 1983, when he was still a student working after school. After graduation he started working full time and managed the night crew for 13 years and then moved to day shift 10 years ago. When Askew's Uptown opened in 2012, Dave became Assistant Store Manager. Then in 2014, Dave moved back to the Armstrong store as Store Manager.

Assistant Store Manager
Paul joined Askew's in 1985 as a bag boy after school and worked his way up to Assistant Store Manager. Paul is the "Organic Specialist" in the store looking after ordering and keeping up on the latest and greatest in the entire organic department.

Meat Manager
Pat has been with Askew's since 1975. It was in 1980 that he became the Meat Manager and since that time has created a reputation of high quality products and customer service.

Produce Manager
Jim joined the Askew's team in 1981 where he worked in all departments except the meat department. Jim took over as the Produce Manager in 2002 and has earned the respect of his customers from the great selection of local fruits and vegetables.

Deli Manager
Mary-Ann joined the Askew's team in 2014 becoming our Deli Manager. She brings 21 years of deli experience with her.

Meet the Farmers

Meet Chelsea and James Keenan from the Keenan Family Farm!

The Keenan's will be at Askew's Armstrong on Wednesday, April 4 from 3-5 pm, Askew's Sicamous on Thursday, April 5 from 3-5 pm and Askew's Uptown on Friday, April 6 from 3-5 pm.

The Keenans are a young family who left behind their successful careers and busy city lives to pursue a more fulfilling, self-sustainable life in the country.

Their chickens are 
-raised out on pasture grass
-forage for bugs
-bask in the sunshine
-help sustain the land with their manure

They are NEVER given
-GMO foods
-antibiotics
-hormones
-animal by-products

All four Askew's locations will carrying their FRESH whole chickens on a monthly basis April-Sept. Deliveries on April 4 | May 2 and 30 | June 27 | July 25 | August 22 | September 19
